INDUSTRIAL COLD RENTAL
We have three Refrigeration Plants that offer rental services for the cold storage of fruit.
The plants are in Menàrguens with 5,000 tons of capacity, in Vilanova de la Barca with 2,000 tons and in Barbens with 2,000 tons.
The three plants are state-of-the-art industrial refrigeration systems and are equipped for long-term fruit preservation using the most innovative techniques, such as U.L.O. (Ultra Low Oxygen) and dynamic atmospheres.
We are prepared to provide the best preservation and freshness to your fruit.

Ros Frigoríficos, S.A. is the fruit of the tradition and experience the Ros family has dedicated to growing and marketing numerous fruit varieties since the 1960s. With over sixty years of direct knowledge of the cultivation and pioneering cold storage installations in Lleida, Ros Frigoríficos combines tradition and modernity.
Today, Ros Frigorífics has three newly built cold storage plants in the Lleida towns of Menàrguens, Vilanova de la Barca, and Bellpuig. These plants are equipped with the latest U.L.O. refrigeration systems and dynamic atmospheres, ensuring maximum quality and freshness for products that are then marketed throughout the European Union.
For the cold storage of fruit, all post-harvest chemical treatments have been eliminated, which in no way alters the organoleptic and gustatory properties of the fruit, thus achieving zero residue for the health of consumers and respect for the environment.
Our main commitment is to satisfy the palate and care for the health of our consumers, as well as to respect the environment around us as much as possible.

HISTORY
ROS FRIGORÍFICS
It was the 1950s when the Ros family was dedicated to growing different varieties of fruit in the orchards of Menàrguens. In 1969, after many years of exclusive dedication to fruit growing, Mr. Jaume Ros Mirada sensed the need to market his products.
One of the first refrigeration plants in the province of Lleida is built in the town of Menàrguens.
In 1989, Ros Frigorífics, S.A. was founded as a family business run by the founder’s sons, Jaume and Ramon, who strive to follow their father’s example of hard work and professionalism. In 2001, another cold storage facility was acquired, located in the town of Vilanova de la Barca, on the C-13 highway, to accommodate the increased production of our farms and associated producers.
In 2005, a new cold storage and packaging plant was built in the town of Menàrguens, featuring the most advanced cold storage and fruit handling technology available to date, to provide the service our customers need.
In 2018, we acquired another cold storage plant located in the town of Bellpuig, in the Seana neighborhood, to serve our associated producers in the Urgell and Pla d’Urgell regions.
With the innovative spirit that characterized Mr. Jaume Ros Mirada in his time, we will continue working to provide the best service to our clients and friends.
